Statement of Accountability
Public accountability is often considered by people when deciding if they will support an organization. Camps A Rising believes in maintaining a high level of accountability within the programs we operate and the way we fund those programs.
We at Camps A Rising believe that accountability begins with upholding our mission.
A clear direction means all of our actions whether they be programmatic or financial are mission focused.
The Mission of Camps A Rising Is:
“To support educational and peaceful activities that demand reducing climate change by moving away from fossil fuels and toward renewable energy sources. We do this by distributing necessary gear and supplies to established encampments of prayer, education and peaceful direct action.”
We believe the main job of an organization’s leadership is to guide that organization to maintain both programmatic and financial accountability. The leadership of Camps A Rising consists of a Board of Directors and an Executive Director. The main task of this group of volunteers is to make certain Camps A Rising focuses on our mission.
